Supermarket Strip Extrusion Line Project Case – Thailand

In May 2024, our company delivered a Supermarket Strip Extrusion Line to a plastic products manufacturer in Thailand, Thai Retail Materials Co., Ltd., which supplies display accessories and shelf components for regional supermarket chains.

The customer required a stable system for producing PVC and PP supermarket strips, including price tag holders, label strips, and shelf-edge profiles. Their main concerns were dimensional consistency, transparency requirements for clear strips, and stable co-extrusion performance.

After reviewing their product drawings and production targets, we recommended a customized configuration consisting of:

• Single-screw extruder optimized for PVC/PP strip materials

• Co-extrusion adapter for transparent and colored layer combinations

• Precision profile die for supermarket shelf-edge formats

• Calibration table for accurate shaping

• Haul-off and cutting system suitable for continuous strip production

During the factory acceptance test on April 28, 2024, the line ran at stable speed with smooth material flow and uniform profile thickness. The transparency of the clear layer met the customer’s specifications after multiple sample adjustments.

After shipment, installation was completed with remote technical guidance. By May 18, 2024, the customer successfully integrated the line into their production schedule. According to their feedback, product dimensional stability and strip flatness improved compared with their previous equipment.

This project shows our capability to support retail display component manufacturers with reliable and stable-profile extrusion solutions in Southeast Asia.
